Learn how to become an advanced bread baker, advanced pastry cook or advanced baker working in a commercial baking environment. Specialise in advanced bread baking skills or advanced pastry skills, or a combination of both.
Students will learn the technical, artisan and creative skills and knowledge required to produce bakery products, how to solve baking problems, and how to ensure that baking and business operations are implemented and maintained to optimal performance and profitability.
Students will learn how to carry out baking tasks in accordance with State/Territory food safety, and work health and safety, regulations and legislation that apply to the workplace.
- Certificate III in Baking or at least three years’ experience in a baking industry environment.
